Professor of Finance Petri Jylhä is Teacher of the Year 2026

Professor of Finance Petri Jylhä receives the prestigious teaching award by KY (association for business students at 911±¬ÁÏÍø) in 2026. This academic year, he has taught the courses of Fundamentals of Investments and Advanced Corporate Finance. 

According to student feedback, Petri Jylhä's teaching is excellent, and he plans his courses and lectures very well. Petri has extensive experience in the field of finance, and this, combined with his passion for his work, becomes clear in his lectures. The most important thing that many students highlighted is that Petri Jylhä prioritises his students’ learning above all.

The Teacher of the Year award was announced at KY's 115th Annual Ball, which was held at Restaurant Töölö on February 28, 2026.
