Guided by the question 鈥淗ow can researchers and university staff turn scientific knowledge into real-world impact?鈥, the programme covers topics such as intellectual property rights (IPR), science-to-business pathways, and knowledge valorisation. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with the KTH Innovation Readiness Level framework, which is used by more than 4,000 organisations worldwide.

The training combines presentations, interactive workshops, and a study visit. Sessions are led by KTH Innovation鈥檚 in-house experts and business coaches, who will share practical insights into commercialisation pathways and innovation support.

The programme also offers opportunities for peer exchange among participants from across the Unite! alliance and engagement with Stockholm鈥檚 innovation ecosystem.

Who: PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, other researchers and university staff who are interested in becoming more active in innovation. Previous commercialisation experience is not required.

When: 8鈥10 September 2026 at KTH Innovation, Teknikringen 1, 114 28 Stockholm, Sweden.

Cost and travel: Participation is free of charge, while travel costs are the responsibility of participants. More information about Erasmus+ staff mobility is available here.

Application deadline: 1 July 2026.
