Guided by the question “How can researchers and university staff turn scientific knowledge into real-world impact?”, the programme covers topics such as intellectual property rights (IPR), science-to-business pathways, and knowledge valorisation. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with the KTH Innovation Readiness Level framework, which is used by more than 4,000 organisations worldwide.

The training combines presentations, interactive workshops, and a study visit. Sessions are led by KTH Innovation’s in-house experts and business coaches, who will share practical insights into commercialisation pathways and innovation support. 

The programme also offers opportunities for peer exchange among participants from across the Unite! alliance and engagement with Stockholm’s innovation ecosystem.

Who: PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, other researchers and university staff who are interested in becoming more active in innovation. Previous commercialisation experience is not required.

When: 8–10 September 2026 at KTH Innovation, Teknikringen 1, 114 28 Stockholm, Sweden.
