Explore the Open University's courses for summer 2026

Most of next summer’s course offerings have now been published. Registration for courses starting at the beginning of the summer opens on 23 March, but you can already browse what’s available.

The Open University’s summer offerings are divided into courses starting in early summer and late summer. Registration for early-summer courses opens on 23 March 2026 at 9:00 am, and those courses begin in April–May. Registration for late-summer courses opens on 8 June 2026, and the courses begin in August. You’ll find each course’s registration link in its course description. Payment of the course fee and registration are done via that link.

Open university courses for degree students at Aalto university

During the summer season (May-August), a few free spots on some of the Open University courses are offered to Aalto degree students. The number of available spots can be seen in Sisu, and you can register for these free spots in the same way as for other degree programme courses.

If there are no free spots available for degree students, you can register as an Open University student by paying the course fee.

Wide Open Uni

911±¬ÁÏÍø Open University

Open University courses are open to everyone regardless of background or age. Open University offers individual courses in Business, Technology, Languages, and Art and Design. Students are admitted to individual courses in the order of registration.
