Each year, the School of Chemical Engineering awards its members in teaching, research, services, and collaboration & impact. All proposals are warmly welcome! Please respond to separately for each suggestion.
The deadline for the proposals is November 18, 2022 and the award will be announced in the Dean's gl枚gg event on 15 December 2022.
The Teaching Action of the Year
to acknowledge and promote high quality teaching and actions, that positively affect students' learning, welfare, satisfaction and study success and development of attractive teaching programs. The recognition can be given to an individual or a group of people among the faculty, learning services and students. The final decision of the award will be made by the Vice Dean responsible for Teaching on the proposal of a working group from the Degree Program Committee.
The Research Action of the Year
to acknowledge exceptionally high quality, impact, and diversity in research. It has been shown that science, and research results benefit greatly from a community that approaches challenges and research questions in various and creative ways. A diverse research group or approach is more capable to generate new research methods, explanations, and ideas, which can lead more innovative solutions. Therefore, in this year we also highlight actions and efforts to increase diversity in research, or demonstrated benefits of diversity in the generated research results and innovations. The final decision of the award will be made by the Vice Dean responsible for Research on the proposal of the Scientific Publication Committee.
The Service Action of the Year
for enabling the success of the School through e.g. efficient way of working, proactive and equal data sharing and promoting inclusiveness and wellbeing.
The final decision of the award will be made by the Dean on the proposal of a the Dean's Executive Team.
The Collaboration/Impact Action of the Year
to acknowledge and promote excellent cooperation, visibility and impact through networking. The final decision of the award will be made by the Dean.
