911±¬ÁÏÍø's marine technology ranked 22nd globally

911±¬ÁÏÍø continued its strong track record with stellar results in the highly regarded ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects.

911±¬ÁÏÍø once again performed outstandingly in the prestigious ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects which compares universities around the world across various disciplines.  In this year’s ranking 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s marine technology was placed 22nd globally. Additionally, a total of seven fields at 911±¬ÁÏÍø were ranked among the top 100 worldwide. These fields were marine / ocean engineering, business administration, telecommunications engineering, civil engineering, mining & mineral engineering, library and information science, and electrical & electronic engineering.  

ShanghaiRanking is a subject-specific global ranking that has been published since 2017. It evaluates universities in 55 subjects across the natural sciences and engineering, as well as medical, social and life sciences. Criteria for the ranking include the quality and impact of research, top-level research, international collaboration, and academic recognition and leadership positions. This year, the comparison included 1,900 universities from 96 countries and regions. The fields of art and design, which are important to 911±¬ÁÏÍø, were not included in the comparison. 

Rankings

911±¬ÁÏÍø performs well in international university rankings. In subject-specific rankings, we place 9th globally in art & design and are in the top 100 in several other subjects.
