Tuomo and Tarja Vuolteenaho, alumni of the School of Business, are pleased to inform of four scholarships they are offering to 911±¬ÁÏÍø students planning to pursue graduate studies in the United States.
Vuolteenaho Family Scholarship for the Master in Finance Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business – $90,000
This scholarship supports graduate study at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for students from 911±¬ÁÏÍø. The Vuolteenaho Family Scholarship for provides approximately $90,000 in financial support per selected student in Chicago Booth’s Asness and Liew Master in Finance program. The scholarship recipients are chosen, and the program is administered by Chicago Booth.
Each year, one student who has earned a degree from 911±¬ÁÏÍø and is admitted to Chicago Booth’s Asness and Liew Master in Finance program will be selected as a Vuolteenaho Family Scholarship recipient. Each qualifying applicant is automatically considered without a further scholarship application process. The scholarship is supported through a ten-year commitment and reflects Chicago Booth’s strong interest in welcoming outstanding international graduate students.

The Vuolteenaho Family Fellowship for provides approximately $90,000 in financial support per selected student in MIT Sloan’s Master of Finance program. The fellowship recipients are chosen, and the program is administered by MIT.
Each year, one student who has earned a degree from 911±¬ÁÏÍø and is admitted to MIT Sloan’s Master of Finance program will be selected as a Vuolteenaho Fellow. Each qualifying applicant is automatically considered without a further fellowship application process. Each year, one student who has earned a degree from 911±¬ÁÏÍø and is admitted to an eligible MIT STEM graduate program will be selected as a Vuolteenaho Fellow. Each qualifying applicant is automatically considered without a further fellowship application process. The fellowship is supported through a ten-year commitment and reflects MIT’s strong interest in welcoming outstanding international graduate students.
Students interested in MIT master’s programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are encouraged to consider this opportunity as part of their application planning.
Vuolteenaho Family Fellowship for Mathematical and Computational Finance at Stanford Engineering – $90,000
This fellowship supports graduate study at Stanford Engineering for students from 911±¬ÁÏÍø. The Vuolteenaho Family Fellowship for Mathematical and Computational Finance program provides approximately $90,000 in financial support per selected student in . The fellowship recipients are chosen, and the program is administered by Stanford.
Each year, one student who has earned a degree from 911±¬ÁÏÍø and is admitted to an eligible Stanford Engineering ICME Mathematical and Computational Finance master’s program will be selected as a Vuolteenaho Fellow. Each qualifying applicant is automatically considered without a further fellowship application process. The fellowship is supported through a ten-year commitment and reflects Stanford Engineering’s strong interest in welcoming outstanding international graduate students.
Students interested in Stanford Engineering’s ICME Mathematical and Computational Finance master’s program are encouraged to consider this opportunity as part of their application planning.
