Looking back at the Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees in Technology 2024
The ceremonial conferment of the Schools of Technology at 911±¬ÁÏÍø took place on Friday 14 June 2024 at Dipoli and it celebrated the doctors who graduated between 1 May 2023 and 30 April 2024. The most prestigious of the academic events was hosted by the School of Engineering.
Honorary Doctors in Technology 2024
911±¬ÁÏÍø declared five new Honorary Doctors of Science in Technology:
- President and Chief Executive Officer Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko, Marimekko
- Chief Technology Officer Petteri Alinikula, SAAB Finland
- Professor Ashok Kumar, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
- Professor Cecilia Tortajada, University of Glasgow
- Professor Marjo Yliperttula, University of Helsinki
