No. The WiT Programme is intense and demands full-time engagement.
The program starts with a 4-week Online Camp, which can be done anywhere in the world. This is followed by a 4-week Fieldwork at the chosen case study location. After the fieldwork, the participants travel to Finland, where the 7-week Otaniemi Camp for project developmenttakes place on site at the Aalto campus in Otaniemi, Espoo.
Housing options are limited. The WiT Programme team provides the participants with information for housing options, but early preparation is essential.
Participants are responsible for securing visas. The WiT Programme provides documentation and guidance to support this process.
Teams are formed to maximize disciplinary and geographic diversity.
Faculty and staff are present and responsive, and peer support is central to the WiT Programme's culture.
