As the honey and wax harvest takes place at the Test-Site beehives, the BeeCrafts DIY workshop celebrates the season by exploring how to use these precious materials. The event invites the beekeeping community, and anyone curious, to make candles and soaps using honey and wax collected on campus.
In addition to hosting the workshop, the initiative also supports the future of Test-Site beekeeping by securing essential gear for beekeeping. The goal is to make beekeeping more accessible so that more people can join and contribute in the seasons ahead.

Our beekeeping project introduces students to the world of honeybees. Participants can join our free introductory course, then work as hive buddies with experienced beekeepers. We also maintain meadows for the bees.
