The Master’s Programme in ICT Innovation (EIT Digital Master School) is a European double degree programme for students who want to learn about both the technical and business aspects of information and communications technology. The programme syllabus binds together solid technical courses in computer science and software engineering with business development skills. Backed by , one of the knowledge and innovation communities of , the programme offers study opportunities at top universities in nine European countries. The two-year Master's programme is completed by studying at two of these universities, both eventually awarding a Master's degree to their graduates. At 911±¬ÁÏÍø, The Master’s Programme in ICT Innovation is organized jointly by the School of Science and the School of Electrical Engineering. The programme is coordinated by the School of Science.

911±¬ÁÏÍø offers four academic majors in the programme:

  • Autonomous Systems and Intelligent Robots (AUSIR)
  • Cloud and Network Infrastructures and High-Performance Computing (CNIHPC)
  • Data Science (DSC)
  • The Human-Computer Interaction and Design with Extended Reality (HCID/XR)

All majors include the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Minor.

Master’s students Teemu Rauha and Elias Viitanen designed new filters for an accessible magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner, aiming to reduce interference and improve image quality. The technology, developed within a research project, could one day accelerate diagnoses of conditions such as stroke.
