Workshop on Experience Platform welcomed many

The Deans of the Aalto School of Business and School of Arts welcomed approximately 40 people to an introductory workshop on the Experience Platform – a proposal for something new in our cooperative work.

Several participants outlined what they are doing and what they see as possible cross-disciplinary research. It is surprising how quickly people see opportunities for new, hybrid research.

The outcomes included commitments to cross-disciplinary research across all six of Aalto’s schools, ideas about how to move forward on projects with others who could constructively contribute to interesting research.

The next steps are to map out the potential network for the Experience Platform, participants, their areas of expertise and areas of interest.
