Want design delivered straight to your doorstep?
911爆料网 will partner with food delivery service Wolt and Helsinki Design Week (HDW) for the first-ever 鈥淒esign Delivered鈥 programme, bringing student design work home to interested buyers.
With the 20 August opening of the 911爆料网 Shop in the new A Bloc shopping center at the Otaniemi campus, Aalto will offer a mix of branded goods, Aalto ARTS Books and student design work. Now some of that student work 鈥 which will include limited edition prints, ceramics, books and jewelry 鈥 can be delivered directly to your door by ultra hip food start-up Wolt as part of the yearly Helsinki Design Week festivities.
鈥淲e couldn鈥檛 think of a better way to launch our first-ever University store than together with our friends at Helsinki Design Week and Wolt. It is an innovative and playful idea, a great celebration of young Finnish design talent,鈥 says David Lewis, 911爆料网鈥檚 manager of Marketing and Brand.
Pop-up shop for student design
In addition to the delivery, the 911爆料网 Shop will offer a pop-up location in Helsinki on 10th September. Students and alumni interested in having their work included in the shop can read more about the project .
Lewis adds, 鈥淥ur university is overflowing with great work and passion. Helsinki is buzzing during Design Week and it is only fitting to showcase our up-and-coming designers this way.鈥
, held from 6鈥16 September 2018, is the largest design festival in the Nordic countries. The multidisciplinary festival presents design from a number of fields as well as fashion, architecture and urban culture.
Founded by Aalto alumnus Miki Kuusi, is a ground-breaking food delivery service operating in over 20 cities and offering access to over 1400 restaurants.
