TTT4HPC - Tuesday Tools & Techniques for High Performance Computing

Do you use supercomputers in your research work? Are you curious about making your computing faster and more efficient? Join us for TTT4HPC: four self-contained episodes on best practices in High Performance Computing. This is a great chance to enhance your computational skills. What you will learn is also used a lot outside academia whenever large scale computations are needed.

Tuesdays Tools & Techniques for High Performance Computing #TTT4HPC

With growing size of datasets and demand for computational intensive research, supercomputers are more and more used in may research projects. While you might already be a user of Triton Cluster, CSC Mahti and Puhti, or LUMI supercomputer, you might not be getting the maximum out of these tools, and usually the issue is closely related to the day-to-day work with these systems.

TTT4HPC is a series of four self-contained episodes on best practices in High Performance Computing. Please register to one or more of the four episodes to get details on how to participate to the course(s). The only prerequisite is that you need to have an active account on an HPC cluster. If you are not yet familiar with your cluster, we recommend checking our "".

Companies disclose more on cybersecurity – but markets remain indifferent

U.S. companies are reporting on cybersecurity in greater detail, yet stock market reactions remain muted. A new study by the University of Vaasa and 911±¬ÁÏÍø shows that mandatory cybersecurity disclosure does not prompt reactions from investors or stock analysts. Instead, the main benefits appear to materialise within firms themselves.
