TOKYO organises a new After ARTS event week
TOKYO, the Aalto ARTS student association, aims to break down the silos between different student groups, to build inspiring new connections and networks, and develop a culture of inspiring discussions at Aalto. Both students and staff are welcome to participate in the AFTER ARTS week programme!
The week offers three types of programme:
Various student organisations have put together a selection of student works in the exhibition halls near Kipsari. In addition, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, short films compiled by ELO students will be screened in Kipsari starting from 19.00.
There will be talks every day in Kipsari starting from 17.00. The students have invited interesting and topical professional guests for interviews. The talks will be streamed live on YLE Areena (can be accessed online in Finland).
In peer workshops, students share their knowledge with other students. Workshop topics range from recycled electronics to designing your own designer self.
The autumn season culminates, of course, with the traditional Maskerad Costume Ball on 11 November at 19.00 at the Old Student House (Vanha ylioppilastalo). For a dazzling masquerade, the venue will be transformed into a more glamorous place than ever, with a programme of live performers and the city's top DJs. More information on .
