Timo Seppälä received Prodeko Teacher of the Year Award
Students of Industrial Engineering and Management (the Prodeko guild) yearly vote for the Teacher of the Year. The vote together with the comments were this year clearly for Timo Seppälä, who teaches the Operations Management and Operations Management Project courses and acts as a mentor for the students. Timo is Professor of Practice Digital Operations at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management.

The award was handed over at the dinner of the third annual Prodeko Spring Seminar at Dipoli on Apri 27, 2018.

At its annual meeting, the Chemistry Guild invited Kristiina Kruus, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, to become an honorary member. Honorary membership is for life and may be granted to a person who has made a special contribution to the guild’s activities or otherwise significantly advanced its goals.
