The Finnfocus export fair was organized on m/s Finnpartner in London 50 years ago on 7-11 October 1968. The export fair in 1968 is definitely the biggest event in the history of our student union KY (today: 911±¬ÁÏÍø Business Students).

Back then, KY rented M/S Finnpartner ferry from the Amer shipping company, which sailed by the Tower Bridge in London and increased international awareness of Finland and Finnish companies. 150 Finnish businessmen tried to get thousands of English businessmen to the site to familiarise themselves with Finnish products. Princess Margaret and her husband Lord Snowdon also came to the event. The fair was a success and brought the student union widespread positive publicity.
