The Department of Computer Science welcomes new research groups

The total number of professors is currently 44 along with more than 400 employees, being the largest department at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

Professors Santo Fortunato, Kimmo Kaski, Jari Saramäki and Aki Vehtari along with their research groups have moved to The Department of Computer Science from the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering as of May 4th 2015. In addition Mikko Hakala, Systems Specialist, and Riku Linna, University Lecturer, have also moved to the department with them.

Professors Santo Fortunato, Kimmo Kaski and Jari Saramäki form the at the department. Professor Aki Vehtari joined the that is being represented by professor Samuel Kaski.

One of the first measures of the new research groups at the department will be the International Conference on Computational Social Science, ICCSS2015, at the Finlandia Hall June 8-11, 2015.
