Tanesh Kumar and Xiaolong Liu start as Data Agents at the School of Electrical Engineering
Aalto Research Data Management Network has two new members, Tanesh Kumar and Xiaolong Liu. Their aim is to support data management practices at the School of Electrical Engineering.
Tanesh Kumar from the Department of Information and Communications Engineering and Xiaolong Liu from the Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering have joined the Research Data Management Network of 911±¬ÁÏÍø as Data Agents. Both represent the School of Electrical Engineering. The School of Electrical Engineering also has two existing Data Agents, Clemens Icheln from the Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering, and Udayanto Atmojo, from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation.
Data Agents help researchers of their departments with issues related to research data management and take part in the activities of the wider Research Data Management network.

ACME at Unite! Research School 2026
Ahmed Othman and Shreeram Pillai participated in Unite! Research School 2026 in Torino and Oropa, Italy, joining an international doctoral programme focused on interdisciplinary collaboration, research communication, and academic development.
Strong results from the Research Council’s winter call
A total of 54 Aalto researchers received Academy Research Fellow or Academy Project funding from the Research Council of Finland. The total funding awarded to 911±¬ÁÏÍø amounts to 33.2 million euros.
