Solve the SDGs hackathon aims to change the world in 48 hours
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the UN offer a blueprint for achieving a more sustainable future by addressing the most severe challenges our world is facing. 911±¬ÁÏÍø is the first Finnish university to sign universities' global Sustainability Development Goals Accord. For this hackathon, the university's entrepreneurship program — Aalto Ventures Program — teamed up with the Junction community to come up with solutions to a selected few of these SDGs.
Solve the SDGs is an online hackathon, where groups work together with world-class mentors to solve sustainability-related problems. The hackathon is open for participants from all backgrounds and all levels; no prior hacking experience is necessary. The hackathon is not looking for technical submissions only — anyone can play a part in solving these problems. Each team will pitch their final ideas with two-minute videos on Sunday 20th.
