As part of 911±¬ÁÏÍø's energy conservation efforts, the Otaniemi campus saunas are out of use for the time being. Only the executive sauna at Konemiehentie 2 and Laude in A Grid (Otakaari 5), managed by an external partner, will continue to operate.
On the Otaniemi campus, the university has a dozen saunas. Not using them helps to achieve the common energy saving goal. The goal is to achieve a 15 per cent energy saving in the next 12 months through the actions aimed at the university's buildings and the actions of the Aalto community and other campus users.
