Satu Rekonen awarded for Achievement in Teaching 2014

Satu Rekonen was granted the School of Engineering Award for Achievement in Teaching 2014 for the I like, I wish -facilitated feedback methode.

I like, I wish is a facilitated team feedback session, originally developed for interdisciplinary student groups, where all the members present get to provide and receive both positive and constructive feedback in written as well as in a spoken format. In these sessions, a certain process is followed and the format has been developed through dozens of sessions organized by Satu in several different interdisciplinary courses since 2011, mainly taking place at Aalto Design Factory but also at Swinburne Design Factory and ESADE Business School.

Due to the rising as well as international interest, the method was packaged as a website () in 2014. The goal of the website is to provide all the needed information so that anyone interested could facilitate the session. The webpage also shows a good example on how well working teaching methods could be spread internationally.
