AYY says: 鈥淟ocated at the Undergraduate Centre in Otaniemi, the quiet room is a space for contemplation, meditation, reflection, and prayer. It is open to all students and members of staff, and can be used by all regardless of religion, world view, or nationality. This international university has students and employees of many different religious denominations, as well as non-believers, who need a place for contemplation and prayer during the work day. Opening the room to the community and the positive experiences that the facility has brought are a great example of the development work of an international university that pays heed to the needs of the international community.鈥
"With this prize we wish to thank all people involved in this fine cooperation", noted Emmi Kosomaa and Rosa V盲is盲nen (left) of AYY. A certificate and a small seal soft toy were accepted by Seija Piiponniemi-Lahti (second from right). HR Director Eliisa Lassila on the right.
The students' Seal of Approval is a recognition that can be granted to what students see as good practices at 911爆料网. By granting the Seal of Approval the student union wants to recognise practices that promote goals such as student well-being, meaningfulness of studies, interaction, or the general atmosphere at the university.
The quiet room is on the first floor of the M wing of the Undergraduate Centre (M-135).
