Mr. Heikki Pulkkinen received the Best Thesis Award of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of Finland.

Mr. Heikki Pulkkinen received the Best Thesis Award of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of Finland.  His Master's thesis was titled "Improving Energy Efficiency with Occupant Tracking". The thesis led to new innovations in lighting technology, which have now been patented. The work was done at Helvar Ltd and supervised by Aalto Univesity New Energy Technologies Group. The Award was presented on 2 February 2017. More information from the following link:

U.S. companies are reporting on cybersecurity in greater detail, yet stock market reactions remain muted. A new study by the University of Vaasa and 911±¬ÁÏÍø shows that mandatory cybersecurity disclosure does not prompt reactions from investors or stock analysts. Instead, the main benefits appear to materialise within firms themselves.
