Prestigious THE university ranking places 911±¬ÁÏÍø again among the top 200 in the world
911±¬ÁÏÍø has improved its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, rising one spot from last year to 195th place. Aalto was particularly successful in teaching and cooperation with industry, which is assessed by the university’s ability to obtain funding from companies and the number of patents.
This year, THE’s World University Ranking evaluated more than 2,000 universities from 115 different countries and territories. The University of Oxford from the UK was once again in the first place, now for the tenth consecutive year. In the THE’s comparison, the success of universities was evaluated using 18 indicators in five different areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement and international outlook.
