The hall is located on the second floor of the Undergraduate Centre and can be recognised by Posti’s familiar visual image. Posti is the second of all partners of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø School of Business to want a sponsored space of its own especially in Otaniemi.

‘We want to be near the students as soon as they start their studies,’ explains Elvira Vainio from the HR department at Posti. Bachelor’s students of the School of Business study in the Undergraduate Centre (Otakaari 1) in Otaniemi.

At the opening ceremony of the sponsored hall on 24 January, specialists from Posti provided CV guidance for students and told them about current vacancies at Posti. Aalto students participating in Posti’s trainee programme were also present to talk about what it is like to work for Posti.

‘We want to tell the students about the diverse job opportunities they have at Posti today from the first stages of their studies to until when they are about to graduate,’ says Vainio. ‘Students should follow Posti particularly on LinkedIn. The latest information about vacancies is always available there.’

Sponsored hall is about building employer image

Sponsored lecture halls allow companies and communities to support students and teaching by influencing the quality and comfort of teaching facilities. At the same time, a sponsored lecture hall is a visible part of creating an image of a company as an employer among the students.

'The halls are named after the sponsors, and this name is commonly used when referring to the hall. Sponsors can also use the hall for their own purposes free of charge twice a year,’ says Satu Holm, who coordinates the sponsored halls at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø School of Business.
