Paul Lillrank new Chairman of the Board of Aalto Health Platform

AHP's mission is to bring together Health and Wellbeing (HWB) -related research at Aalto and promote multi-disciplinary initiatives.

Quality and service management DIEM professor Paul Lillrank was elected Chairman of the Board of (AHP) on January 15th. AHP maintains connections with other academic institutions, particularly Helsinki University Faculty of Medicine; health service providers, such as HUS; and the HealthTech business community. Currently AHP engages  77 professors from all six schools and nearly all Aalto departments.

Professor Lillrank has researched Health Service production systems for the past fifteen years. He has established DIEM's research unit , and co-founded its academic spin-off, (NHG) Co.Ltd, which with its  close to one hundred employees is the leading HWB -consultancy in Finland.

The academic year 2016-17 Paul Lillrank was on a sabbatical leave spending time in Japan and India writing a textbook (Francis & Taylor / CRC Press).
