Because the western section of Otaranta will be closed, the bulk of passenger traffic will move to Luolamiehentie. Passengers are recommended to prepare for extended travel time on routes running through Otakaari and Luolamiehentie, especially during morning and afternoon peak times. Pedestrian and bicycle access will remain on Otaranta throughout the construction project, but routes will be rerouted on the roadside according to different stages of construction.

Work will primarily be carried out between 7 am and 6 pm on weekdays. We may perform some less noisy work in the evenings between 6 and 10 pm, at weekends and on mid-week holidays.

More information on the progress of the work can be found at .
