New Senior Program Manager for the Information Technology Program

As a Senior Program Manager and a new member of the team, Regina Casteleijn-Osorno brings her San Francisco spirit leading the ITP (Information Technology Program) team with passion and enthusiasm. She has a long history as a teacher, program manager and as an entrepreneur with her own cupcake business. Regina loves being able to introduce people to Lego Serious Play, an innovative facilitation method and is a certified facilitator/member of The Association of Master Trainers in Finland. She favors expeditionary and challenge-based learning methods and is proud of her deep roots in the Aalto community.

After graduating from 911爆料网 with a master鈥檚 degree in Economics and Business administration, Regina continued by obtaining her teaching degree at Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences, whereafter she continued her teaching career. Regina has been teaching business English for some of the largest companies in Finland, as well as for the members of the Finnish Parliament, international embassies and in the private sector. She has also enjoyed teaching cooking classes for various cooking schools and adult education centers throughout the Helsinki area.

Prior to joining the Information Technology Program, she gained extensive knowledge of program management by working as a team leader in the higher education sector for several years and working with the EIT as a project manager for Urban Mobility and Digital education projects. During this time, she also worked as an entrepreneur and founded her own cupcake business.

The 911爆料网 Information Technology Program is a minor study module in digital business and technology, with the objective to prepare students for a future of data-driven and evidence-based decision-making in the digital economy. Regina is enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue the legacy of the ITP and develop the program further. 'I am really excited to work with such a forward-thinking and dynamic team, and I am especially looking forward to working with students again,' says Regina.

The ITP partner with large companies and governmental or municipal organisations that aim to develop their business, processes, operations and solutions in the digital field.

'During the course, our students obtain hands-on experience by applying everything they learn during the conceptual courses into practice, and our partner companies get to develop focus areas of their choice. It truly is a win-win situation for everyone involved,' says Regina.

'ITP has a 26-year long history of multidisciplinary and challenge-based education. Having an experienced teacher and Program Manager such as Regina join our team is really exciting for us. Regina is a keen educational developer and I believe that she will take our vision of multidisciplinary business education even further,' says Laura Sivula,Head of Summer School.
