New department heads and deputies appointed at the School of Electrical Engineering

Tomi Laurila will take over as the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation, while Tuomas Savolainen will taker over as Director of the Metsähovi Radio Observatory. Ville Viikari and Tapio Lokki will remain in their current roles.

Dean Jussi Ryynänen has appointed the new department heads and deputy heads of the School of Electrical Engineering and the director of the Metsähovi Radio Observatory. Their terms of office will start on 1 January 2026. The new department heads and the director of Metsähovi Radio Observatory are members of the School's management team.
