National learner IDs and personal details updated in Sisu

In addition to the learner ID, the update of personal details covers the first and last names, home municipality, nationality and mother tongue of the student.

National learner ID information has been updated as a batch run in Sisu on Monday, 12 May 2025. In addition to the learner ID, the update of personal details covers the first and last names, home municipality, nationality and mother tongue of the student.

The learner ID and student personal information are updated during a batch run provided that:

  • the student has a valid right to study and their attendance information is in order if attendance information is required for the right to study
  • the student’s personal identity code, first name, last name and nationality are recorded in Sisu
  • the student is not marked as deceased or their right to study has not been inactivated in Sisu by those in charge of the learner ID register.

The majority of recently admitted students already have their learner ID in Sisu. New students have received their learner IDs through Studyinfo or the KOSKI service.

See also the Sisu guidelines for updating your information.
