Laura Toivola was awarded to IBM´s Best Student Recognition Event

80 excellent students from 34 different countries were invited to Amsterdam.

Laura Toivola, who is studying in Master´s program of Information and Service Management (ISM) has been awarded with IBM’s Best Student Recognition. In July 8-10, Laura and three other Finnish students will be travelling to Amsterdam and represent Finland in the event.

IBM`s Best Student Recognition Event is a 3-day event to give EMEA´s brightest students insights into IBM´s strategy, business and research. The theme of this year´s event is Smarter Food – don't waste it, save it!

80 business and technical students from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa will come together in Amsterdam to get a deep understanding of IBM, network with peers and IBMers and build up ideas for a Smarter Planet.

Executive, University Relations and Government Affairs, of IBM Nordic Maarit Palo, Professor of Information Systems Science and Vice Dean-elect of research and international cooperation of the School of Business Timo Saarinen and Senior University Lecturer in Information Systems Science and a member of IBM´s Academic Initiative Program Johanna Bragge celebrated with Laura Toivola her success in an event organised on 10 June.
