Kari Tammi appointed as Full Professor
The dean of the School of Engineering, Professor Kari Tammi, has been appointed Full Professor at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, School of Engineering from January 1, 2024 by the decision of President Ilkka Niemelä.
Kari Tammi has worked at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the position of Associate Professor since 2015. The field of the professorship is the design of mechatronic machines.
Tammi started as dean of 911±¬ÁÏÍø's School of Engineering and as a member of the university's management team on July 1, 2023. Previously, he served as vice dean responsible for the effectiveness of the School of Engineering from 2022.
