Improve your teaching methods for joint programmes

The Unite! Competencies for Collaborative Teaching in Joint Programmes is a dynamic programme aimed at university teachers to help them develop and implement innovative teaching methods for international joint programmes.
Focus group discussion of conceptualising Aalto-level Game Changer competences

This blended intensive programme focuses on the integration of technology tools, collaborative strategies, and interdisciplinary approaches, highlighting the role of creativity and critical thinking.  

The curriculum emphasizes the link between global competence and diverse teaching contexts, both face-to-face and online. Participants will learn to harness the unique benefits of multilingual and multicultural classrooms, to design teamwork for enhanced learning, and to see joint programmes as opportunities for authentic learning through business and academic collaboration. Upon completion, educators will be able to create enriched intercultural and interdisciplinary learning experiences for their learners.​​  

The programme runs from June to August 2024 and combines on-line modules with a full week on-site module at KTH in Stockholm in August. 

Dates and location

  1. Online introductory module​
    One meeting between the 17-20 June 2024 (2 to 3 hours)​​
  2. On-site training module​
    26–30 August 2024 (full week) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.​​
  3. Online training module​
    Individual and group work for the final assignment, final peer-exchange between September and December 2024​

Registration deadline is 31 May 2024. 

The course is free of charge, travel costs each participant covers themselves.

The blended intensive programme is organised by the Unite! university alliance comprising of nine European universities: Graz University of Technology,  Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universidade de Lisboa, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Politecnico di Torino, Institute Polytechnique de Grenoble, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and 911±¬ÁÏÍø.
