Happy holidays!

In this video, President Ilkka Niemelä wishes all happy holidays

Dear Aalto community,

it is almost time to close our laptops and take a well-earned break. This year has been taxing for everyone. The global pandemic has changed the way we work, study and meet each other.

I want to let you know that we hear you and see your challenges. I also want you to know that we are here for you. Let’s work together to find new ways of staying in touch, studying, working and collaborating, as we are gradually moving out of the pandemic next year.

The winter holidays might be different this year, but they still offer time to breathe and gather strength. Let’s put 2020 behind us. I wish you can have the winter holidays you deserve and I wish you all peace of mind and many restful moments.

Happy holidays!

Ilkka Niemelä
President
