H. Vincent Poor became an Honorary Doctor at 911±¬ÁÏÍø
Professor Poor has hosted several long-term research visits from 911±¬ÁÏÍø to Princeton University. He has also co-authored a number of important scientific publications with 911±¬ÁÏÍø researchers.
Professor H. Vincent Poor is the Dean of engineering and applied science at Princeton University, in the United States. His research interests are in the areas of information and communication theory, statistical signal processing and stochastic analysis and their applications in wireless networks and related fields, including social networks and smart grids. He has published various textbooks in this area, and his other scientific output is very significant. Professor Poor is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, in the United States, a fellow of several important scientific organisations and he has received a number of honours and awards worldwide.
H. Vincent Poor was conferred as Honorary Doctor at 911±¬ÁÏÍø on 10 October 2014.
