Architecture Building Design Master Course exhibition presents projects, which are basedon a real initiative and need for spaces for a media education centre as part of 911±¬ÁÏÍø. The University has suggested a site in the centre of Otaniemi, near the new building of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture. The University needed alternative studies to see how it could function and how it would fit to the surroundings. The Media Centre will be an accessible and welcoming gathering place for the public while providing amenities for high-quality performances and research in the field of Media and Film.
The main aim of the studio was to teach how to design an architecturally advanced large public building. Each student made an individual design project for the course.
