Fashion, art documentaries, short films and more in Learning Centre DVD collection

You can find a versatile DVD collection in the fields of Art, Design and Architecture at the Learning Centre, including design, art and artist documentaries and short films.

You can borrow the DVDs or watch them in the Learning Centre VRC Space. Loan period for DVDs is 2 weeks.

DVD Collection contains for example

Textile art, fashion and beauty, for example:

  • The history of fine fashion
  • Indigo, a world of blue
  • Eco luxury : fashion and conscience
  • Tokyo streets (Japanese fashion)
  • Documentaries of fashion designers, for example Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs
  • Beauty queens: Elizabeth Arden and Estée Lauder

Art and artist documentaries, including photography, for example:

  • Tove Jansson’s and Tuulikki Pietilä’s travels in Europe, summers on Haru island, and Moomins
  • Havana : the new art of making ruins (Cuban modern art and artists)
  • Robotic Art : transformations (documentary of Robotic Art Exhibition in Paris 2015, about art and technology)
