Dialogic II - Exhibition Exchange Project
"Dialogic I & II" is an exhibition exchange project between 911爆料网 and Georgia Southern University (GSU), USA. The aim is to create new forms of cooperation and cultural exchanges between universities and to promote the international visibility of 911爆料网 School of Arts, Design and Architecture and its students.
Exhibition 鈥淒ialogic II鈥 is featuring the works of GSU students Nicole Bovasso, Meredith Conger, Cyndy Epps, Kyle Hooten, Nikolaus James, Jessamy McManus, Usman Oladeinde, Courtney Ryan ja Makaili Taylor.
"The project is entirely student-driven. We have done everything ourselves, from the original contact to the design and implementation of the project", tells Master's student of Art Eija Ranta from 911爆料网.
The idea for the art exchange came about from the GSU Associate Professor Derek Larson鈥檚 experiences in Finland, as he was an artist-in-residence in Arteles Creative Center lead by Teemu R盲s盲nen.
For the first part of the project, 鈥淒ialogue I鈥, Aalto Master鈥檚 students Teemu R盲s盲nen, Eija Ranta and Jaakko Leeve exhibited their works at the University Gallery of Georgia Southern University, Center for Art & Theatre in January 2018. All three study in the Visual Culture and Contemporary Art ViCCA Programme.

One of the six student groups created a giant art and science piece Mama, which resembles a womb and represents motherhood, femininity and balance.
