Changes to library material subscriptions 2022

The Learning Centre subscribes to databases, e-book services and e-journal packages for students and staff. In 2022 there will be some changes to orders. The links will take to the library database Aalto-Primo, with more information about the service and access link to the material itself.

There have been changes in the Learning Centre's e-resource collections. The following new materials are now available for our users:

  • service includes articles and electronic versions of journals in the following Finnish news media: Talouselämä, Arvopaperi, Fakta, Tekniikka&Talous, TIVI, Mikrobitti, Mediuutiset and Uusi Suomi
  • Oxford reference works collection has expanded with databases and
  • has been updated to the 2022 journal collection
  • includes up-to-date dictionaries and tools for language proofing and translation
  • E-books published by Springer 2022 on the following subject collections: , , and

The subscription of the following materials ends:

  • PsycArticles  
  • , access to this database will end on March 31st          
  • , access to this database will end on June 30th   
  • , order will end on May 31st, subscribed volumes will remain in use 
  • , order will end on May 31st
  • , subscribed volumes will remain in use 
  • , order will end on May 15th, subscribed volumes will remain in use 
  • , subscribed volumes will remain in use      
  • , new 2022 books will not be acquired, previously acquired books will remain in use

The availability of all materials provided by the Learning Centre can be checked by the library database .

U.S. companies are reporting on cybersecurity in greater detail, yet stock market reactions remain muted. A new study by the University of Vaasa and 911±¬ÁÏÍø shows that mandatory cybersecurity disclosure does not prompt reactions from investors or stock analysts. Instead, the main benefits appear to materialise within firms themselves.
