Apply for the University's charge card for business trips

The University's charge card eases controlling travel and expense bills.

The Eurocard charge card is free of annual charge both for the users and the University. When paying with the charge card the purchases are automatically directed to the M2 Travel and expense management system. By using the for moving the receipts to the system, you can combine receipts and purchases easily. This speeds up preparing the travel expense bill.

You do not have to spend your own money nor put strain on your own credit limit for doing work-related tasks. By preparing the travel and expense bill in time, Aalto provides you with the money used for travelling, representing or small procurements in good time before the Eurocard bill expires. The charge card bill is invoiced once a month and the payment time is 21 days. If you wish, you can have the bill automatically paid as an e-bill.

Applying for the charge card is easy. Contact the card representative who will get you the approval and start the application process.

Using the charge cards more extensively than before, together with the M2 mobile, makes the processing of Aalto's approximately 68 000 travel and expense bills more effective. Digitalisation makes the operation more effective and the university’s accounting will remain up to date and correct.

New charge cards will automatically be fitted with the contactless payment feature. The contactless payment feature will be added to the cards already in use with the annual renewal.
