Application period for Bachelor’s programmes in Finnish until 7 April 2015

In autumn 2015, Helsinki-based Bachelor’s degree programmes move from the Töölö campus to the Otaniemi campus.

An expert in business and economy? A consultant for an international corporation? A startup entrepreneur? Apply to study at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø School of Business! The application period runs until 7 April.

The School of Business has a two stage degree structure, and thus application periods for both Bachelor's and Master's studies. A student admitted to a Bachelor's programme has the right of study for both the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes.

The student first completes a BSc (Economics and Business Administration) in the area of specialisation the student selects at the end of the first year of studies. After completing a BSc, the student can continue his/her studies in a Master's Degree Programme.

Bacherlor's studies will move from Töölö campus to the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Otaniemi campus this fall. Master’s studies will continue to be taught on the Töölö campus. Finnish is the primary language of instruction for Bachelor’s programmes taught at the School of Business’ Helsinki campus.

The School of Business’ other campus is located in Mikkeli. Students at the Mikkeli campus complete the International Business Bachelor’s Degree Programme, BScBA, in English. The application period for studies beginning in autumn 2015 in Mikkeli was in January 2015, and the next application period will be in January 2016.

911±¬ÁÏÍø focuses on producing multidisciplinary projects and practical studies. The university’s inspiring atmosphere springs forth from enthusiastic student-centred learning that emphasises creativity and critical thinking.

After completing a BSc (Economics and Business Administration) and MSc (Economics and Business Administration), a student has the option of continuing their studies and going on to graduate as a Licentiate or Doctor of Science (Economics and Business Administration) or a Doctor of Philosophy.

Application to Bachelor’s programmes on the Helsinki campus

The joint application system in the field of business and economics refers to subjects that are in the scope of joint application and share the same entrance exam and selection criteria. Applications to the Bachelor’s programmes are submitted through the joint online application system for Finnish higher education institutions at .

Application for Bachelor’s programmes is organised once a year. Students can also be selected on the basis of credits earned in an Open University, SAT scores or competitions. Just over 300 students are selected each year to begin their studies at the School of Business’ Helsinki campus.
