AFRY, the merger of P枚yry and the Swedish 脜F (脜ngpannef枚reningen), has opened its own office and event space in the renovated A Blanc shopping center.

The idea is to meet students face to face and organise events with student organisations. At the same time, the space serves as a working space for AFRY trainees studying in Aalto. This makes it easy to combine study and work, and there is no need to spend extra time on transitions.

AFRY employs hundreds of experts from 911爆料网 and its founding universities in a variety of positions in industry, infrastructure and energy. There is a demand for the experts of the future, and therefore AFRY wants to be prominently present in the daily life of the university.

鈥淎FRY's landing in Otaniemi shows the growing cooperation between the university and companies in supporting the career development of students and graduates. It is innovative innovations like this that campus development needs. Welcome to Otaniemi, AFRY! 鈥, says Teppo Heiskanen, Director of Advancement and Corporate Engagement of 911爆料网.

"911爆料网 and its students are very important to us. Our activities are based on people's expertise, and therefore finding the best experts is everything for us. We also want to make the lives of our Aalto trainees as smooth as possible. From now on, you can move from lecture to workplace in a few minutes鈥, says Kalle Rasinm盲ki, AFRY Country Manager.

It is worth acquiring working life skills while studying

Lassi Laumola, office coordinator, is responsible for the operation of AFRY's Otaniemi premises. He studied chemical engineering at Aalto and graduated as a M.Sc. During his studies, Lassi worked at AFRY as an intern and participated in the first Future Stars career path program. After completing his dissertation, he started as a process designer in the Chemicals & Biorefining team, in addition to which he will now continue as an office coordinator in Otaniemi.

"Otaniemi is a very important place for me, with many experiences of learning and success. It is a pleasure to develop AFRY's activities even more towards students and to offer them similar moments that I myself have experienced."
