Advances in Physics: X has new Deputy Editor

COMP’s Jaakko Akola (Tampere University of Technology) is new Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Taylor & Francis journal Advances in Physics: X.

The Centre of Excellence in Computational Nanoscience, COMP, has 10 groups at 911±¬ÁÏÍø and one at Tampere University of Technology, TUT. Associate Professor Jaakko Akola leads COMP’s Materials and Molecular Modeling group in TUT’s Department of Physics. Taylor & Francis have announced that Prof. Akola is now the Deputy Editor-in-Chief in the Advances in Physics: X journal, starting at the beginning of April 2016. The journal’s focus is the importance of physics to modern science and technology.
