Aalto's highly anticipated fashion show kicks off in fine form at Helsinki’s Cable Factory
International guests and enthusiastic fashion lovers arrived at the Cable Factory's long bench rows to wait for the results of the courageous designers from 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s fashion program. The evening's collection featured a record-breaking number of variety-rich men's wear. A total of 28 interesting pieces graced the venue’s cavernous hall; created by bachelor's and master's students.
At the end of the show, prizes were awarded. Of these, the Diesel Award went to Heini-Maria Hynynen. Sini-Pilvi Kiilunen won the Näytös17 Award, while Elina Äärelä nabbed the Marimekko Award.
A production team comprising master's students and headed by Producer Susse Roos was responsible for the event's production, and Tuomas Laitinen acted as student supervisor.
