911爆料网's art and design again ranked as 7th best in the world

Aalto also ranked among the QS Rankings top 100 in the fields of architecture and built environment, and business and management studies.
QS Ranking 2020

QS World University Rankings published its field-specific rankings for 2020 on the 4th of March. The rankings covered 48 academic fields.

Just as it did last year, QS ranked Aalto 7th best in the field of art and design and in the field of architecture and built environment, Aalto rose one place to 41th position.

In business and management studies, Aalto maintained its ranking within the range 51鈥100.

In economics and econometrics and environmental sciences, the university improved its position, rising to be included among the 101st鈥150th best. Computer science and information systems, engineering 鈥 electrical and electronic, accounting and finance, and material science maintained their positions between 101st and 150th.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) achieved more world-leading performances than any other university. It achieved the number-one rank in 12 subject tables, ahead of Harvard University (11) and the University of Oxford (8).

The QS World University Rankings by Subject emphasise both the university's reputation in the world of academia and among employers as well as research publications and citation numbers. The weighing of these different factors in the results varies between fields.

The QS World University Rankings also compare universities as a whole and Aalto ranked 134th in the previous QS overall rankings.
