911±¬ÁÏÍø to take over CLUSTER Presidency
The European CLUSTER network, Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research, has appointed the 911±¬ÁÏÍø President Tuula Teeri as CLUSTER President and Professor Katrina Nordström from Aalto as CLUSTER Secretary General. Senior Adviser Greger Lindén will act as coordinator and Coordinator Kirsi Hanslin as assistant. Aalto's presidency, which begins on 1 July 2016, will last for two years.
CLUSTER's activities include organising a dual doctoral degree and promoting student exchanges, internationalisation of studies and the transfer of best practices from one university to another. The consortium is also engaged in broad-scoped cooperation with Chinese universities of technology. 911±¬ÁÏÍø has been a member of CLUSTER since 2003.
- During our Presidency, we will specifically make an effort to promote cooperation between universities in science and engineering in the areas of entrepreneurship education and enterprise cooperation,' explains Professor Katrina Nordström, who will take over as Secretary General of the consortium.
