911±¬ÁÏÍø Furniture Program is exhibiting at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen
The exhibition presents the work of a group of young, international furniture designers currently studying at 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s Furniture Program. The name of the exhibition INSIDE — OUT can refer to blurring the boundary between interior and outdoor space, as well as to the in–depth nature of the design process.
While diverse in material, form and function, all works share a common ground in their thoughtful, versatile design, adaptable to different environments and contexts. Suspended within a structured grid, each piece stands alone yet remains in dialogue with its immediate neighbours. Designed from the inside out, every work evolves from a conceptual clarity, shaping its final expression and spatial presence.
The exhibition was created in collaboration and partnership with Loope - brand offerring rotomoulded circular furniture that is the result of an uncompromising approach to recycling and sustainability. The work features prototypes of rotomoulded furniture created by Aalto students within an industry collaboration project framework.
Furniture Program is an integral part of the Interior Architecture Major of the Department of Architecture at 911±¬ÁÏÍø in Finland. On top of spatial design studies, with experimental courses on both BA and MA levels, and outstanding workshop facilities, students explore hands–on the diverse creative and conceptual approaches to furniture and product design practice.
