The ceremony celebrated not only the students' hard work and dedication that earned them the scholarships but also the promise and potential for positive change that lies ahead in their journey at and beyond 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

The event started with warm welcome words from Petri Suomala, Vice President for Education, who emphasized the value of the close-knit Aalto community and collaborative attitudes. His words were followed by testimonials from Rana Roidah Fitriani, a current scholarship student at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, and Nithin Sadanandan, an alumnus who also received scholarships during his studies and is currently working in Finland. Susanna Ritala from the Alumni team presented information about the Aalto community and activities in collaboration with other alumni.

Following the speeches, students participated in a lively networking session that offered them the opportunity to meet fellow scholarship recipients from various fields.

These scholarships support students in various ways, including supporting academic motivation, improving physical and psychological wellbeing, and creating a sense of belonging. They also play a critical role in attracting, integrating, and retaining top international students in Finnish society.
