Aalto to strengthen collaboration with Technical University of Munich

The universities' presidents signed a memorandum of understanding on 8 March.

911±¬ÁÏÍø President Ilkka Niemelä and the President of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Wolfgang A. Herrmann signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Brussels on 8 March 2019, to endorse the common interest in exploiting intensified cooperation. TUM and Aalto share a membership in several international networks and partner in research, student and staff mobility as well as in several joint projects.

The Technical University of Munich is one of Europe’s most prestigious technical universities. It is committed to excellence in research and teaching, interdisciplinary education and the active promotion of promising young scientists. The university also forges strong links with companies and scientific institutions across the world.
