The NeGenYASA team at 911±¬ÁÏÍø has developed an innovative motor design to revolutionize the motor industry. The NeGenYASA motor is a game-changer with its modular structure, compact size, and lightweight while significantly enhancing efficiency through a 50% reduction in production materials, leading to substantial cost savings. Its sustainable design contributes to greener production practices by slashing CO2 emissions by half compared to conventional radial flux (RF) motors. Although axial flux yokeless and segmented armature (YASA) motors are known for their superior power density and efficiency, their complexity in manufacturing poses significant challenges. The NeGenYASA motor, however, introduces a modular design that simplifies manufacturability and improves copper recyclability, outpacing current YASA motors in these respects. This advancement positions the NeGenYASA motor as the future of the motor industry, and its significant advancement will enable the industry to achieve higher efficiency with greater sustainability.
